Sandover (EL25504)
The Sandover prospect hosts over 46km of Tertiary Calcrete on the edge of the Arunta Block. The calcrete sequence occurs close to “hot” basement granitic rocks and interpreted structures. The calcrete has been poorly drill tested in the past. A number of small airborne uranium anomalies occur within the calcrete.
More recently, Broken Range Limited acquired the right to earn 50% equity upon spending 2 years minimum expenditure. Broken Range managed to complete 6 drill holes before the program was called off due to wet weather. No significant uranium was discovered. It’s anticipated that the drilling will recommence during 2009.
