Florence Creek (EL25894, 25329, 26395)

The Florence Creek prospect contains two historic rock chip results of 46.4% U and 2.95% U along an interpreted NW structure within the Harts Range metamorphic group. Follow up work by United Orogen during 2007 failed to locate or replicate these results.

During 2007, a close spaced airborne geophysical survey was conducted. All anomalous areas were subsequently inspected on the ground. The highest reading obtained was 23 ppm U. During 2008, UOG contracted a geophysical consultancy to model a number of interesting magnetic features that appear associated with several low order multi-element stream anomalies. Some minor metallurgical and evaluation work was also undertaken on the extensive garnet occurrences along Florence Creek. However due to difficult markets, UOG chose not to pursuit this commodity.
